yeah yeah so its been a long time....some of us have other stuff to do you see.

so i quit my job...and u would say that hey that should leave u with more time to do this...but i havent really been near a computer....a total break...nice eh :)

for the past month and a half i have been jobless....well actually i been negotiating a contract with a company who in turn was negotiating another contract with yet another compay....bloody vicious cycle that.but its a nice feeling to be wanted by the client company whose project i worked on for that ungrateful ex-boss.but hey guess what....if that ex-boss was still connected to the project in anyway.....he would end up reporting to me....ooooo i so wish i have a chance.i am so gonna stick it to the man

now then.....by request (ha ha ha) 10 simple pleasures of life :

*not particular order either*

1. 8 hours of sleep.for some reason (12 years in boarding school)...i need exactly that amount...i can do with less but i get crabby.if i get more my head feels like a microwaved pumpkin.but my body clock is set for 8 hours.
2. flirting.....but only if the opposite party gets it.its actually intellectually stimulating and pretty harmless fun.alas....the art is getting lost :)
3. a good book....nothing like it.i rather read than watch/listen to anything....infact i just tune the world out.
4. coffee with the gang (j-inc).....the comfort level is so high that its amazing.we make it a point to do it atleast once a week....invariably its more like every other day.
5. a good work out.....u know the sense of well being....the sore muscles....its all good baby.
6. standing on the balcony and watching the rain.....mebbe some music at the back....but thats optional.i rather like the sound of rain.
7. street food....its not that great in blore...but then i have had a chance to have it in some of the best places....calcutta,delhi,bombay...:)
8. tea.....hot,strong and sweet...
9. a walk....late at night or just after its rained..
10. the onset of winter....the air just smells different ....
